Since becoming part of the CBC Co Ltd Group in 2006, PROCOS has evolved into a trusted partner for pharmaceutical companies worldwide, driven by a commitment to innovation, quality and customercentricity. However, beyond our technical capabilities what truly defines us is our deep-rooted commitment to ethics and sustainability. This commitment dates back to our foundation, when Lina Croci, a pioneering analytical chemist, joined as one of the company’s founding members. In post-war Italy, where opportunities for women in science were scarce, her leadership was a powerful signal: at PROCOS, inclusion wasn’t a trend – it was a principle. Respect for people and the environment has always been embedded in our DNA. ESG as a strategic pillar Today, Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) principles are fully embedded in how we operate and grow. ESG is not an add-on – it is a mindset, a philosophy that drives our decisions and long-term vision. We have designed our ESG policy to align ourselves to international standards, ensuring measurable goals, transparent reporting and crossfunctional accountability. Sustainability is no longer a future aspiration – it is a daily responsibility. Environmental commitment As a chemical manufacturer, we are keenly aware of our environmental responsibilities. Our journey toward environmental stewardship begins with precise measurement: we have mapped our emissions and committed to the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), aligning our climate goals with the global target of limiting warming to 1.5°C. We are also advancing circular economy practices by recovering solvents, reducing water usage and investing in Best Available Technologies (BAT) to reduce our footprint while maintaining productivity. Ongoing energy efficiency projects and responsible resource management contribute to our goal of a lowimpact production model. Social responsibility People are at the heart of PROCOS.
