Biesterfeld is expanding its long-term partnership with US ingredient manufacturer IFF Health & Biosciences. With immediate effect, Biesterfeld Spezialchemie will distribute the GENENCARE® bioactives portfolio in Poland. Thanks to this new agreement, Biesterfeld, one of the leading distributor of specialty chemicals now holds extended distribution rights for the products that have already successfully been distributed in the personal care sector in the DACH region for many years.
The GENENCARE® bioactives portfolio consists of a range of all-natural, 100% plant-based active ingredients that deliver benefits across skin, hair care and color cosmetics. Ingredients in the GENENCARE® personal care bioactives range have recently achieved certification through the Upcycled Food Association’s (UFA) Upcycled Certified™ Program. The UFA’s Upcycled Certification Program is the world’s first third-party certification program for upcycled ingredients and products.
Extracted from a side stream of sugar production, the GENENCARE® OSMS osmolytes contribute to skin health by managing water balance in skin and within the formulation and protect skin from dehydration. Penetrating into the hair shaft and binding to the surface, they also help protect, strengthen, and care for healthier-looking hair and scalp.
