Brenntag Cleaning, a leading chemical distributor to the Home Care and Industrial & Institutional industries, announces the opening of its new detergent application laboratory in Barcelona, Spain. The new facility is situated at the Material Science Cluster of the University of Barcelona and offers lab services to Brenntag’s business partners throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). It is equipped with state-of-the-art technology allowing performance tests of a wide range of products as well as the formulation development of cleaning products.

With the dedicated applications lab, Brenntag is able to better and faster react to rapidly changing market trends and demands that come with increasing technical and regulatory requirements and end consumers being more sensitive about the products and formulation they use.
