Biopesticide Summit 2019 is delighted to announce the Global Biopesticide Awards 2019 will be presented as part of its gala dinner the 1st week of July. Over 300 VIPs and guests are expected to attend and celebrate achievements in the field of Biopesticides.

Biopesticides are the natural alternative to toxic chemicals – using plants, bacteria, fungi and minerals for the control of insect pests which attack food and other crops of all kinds. The global biopesticides market was worth approximately $3.36 billion in 2016 and is projected to reach $8.82 billion by 2022, at a CAGR of 17.4% from 2016 to 2022.

Global Biopesticide Awards 2019 will recognise and showcase the achievements of innovators in biocontrol industry. Nine awards across the industry will recognise outstanding achievements in the field of global biopesticides and their impact in crop protection. New products are those launched in the preceding 2 years.

Award categories are:

• Best new biofungicide product
• Best new biofertilizer product
• Best new biostimulant product
• Best new biochemical product
• Innovative research project of the year
• Best industry collaboration
• Outstanding achievement
• Best new biocontrol of the year.
