Nufarm boosts competitiveness in key segments

Nufarm has significantly boosted its crop protection offer to European customers after finalizing the acquisition of more than 50 formulations from Adama and Syngenta.  The newly acquired products will be integrated with Nufarm’s existing strong European portfolio, broadening the company’s offering in fungicides and insecticides, and in core crops including cereals, corn, and trees, potatoes, vines and vegetables (TPVV), as well as the important oilseed rape market.

Nufarm Europe General Manager Hugo Schweers said Nufarm is committed to providing innovative crop protection solutions for Europe’s growers and farmers: “Nufarm is focused on helping our customers grow, and with the addition of these formulations we have strengthened the range of innovative solutions available to them. Our current Nufarm portfolio will now be complemented by well-established branded products and important active ingredients such as Acetamiprid, Trinexapac and various Tebuconazole mixtures.”

Mr Schweers said the acquisitions will also trigger continued investment by Nufarm in the development of new solutions to meet grower needs into the future: “We will be working hard to bring new products to market, including several innovative products currently within the regulatory approval process. We’re here to help our customers grow with confidence, through smart, reliable and great value products, backed up by great service and technical support.”
