The European Commission has decided not to renew the approval of the fungicide, propineb.

 

Propineb is a dithiocarbamate fungicide with the multisite activity characteristic of the group.
 

The EC requires Member States to withdraw authorizations for products containing propineb as active substance by 22 June 2018 at the latest.

 

Any grace period granted by Member States shall be as short as possible and shall expire by 22 June 2019 at the latest.
