STK's AVIV biofungicide now registered in Florida

STK Bio-ag Technologies, a global leader in the development and marketing of botanical-based and hybrid solutions for crop protection, announced today that it has secured Florida state registration for its biofungicide AVIV.

Based on a proprietary strain of Bacillus subtilis IAB/BS03, AVIV biofungicide is an advanced microbial fungicide that delivers broad spectrum disease control both in soil and on plant surfaces.  AVIV is a clear liquid, which tends to be far less clogging than other biopesticides. AVIV is OMRI listed and approved for use in organic production.
“Securing registration in Florida for AVIV biofungicide is an important milestone for STK,” said Neal Job, STK Country Manager for the U.S.  “AVIV biofungicide’s optimized formulation provides growers with superior organic fungal control and ease of use that is unmatched by other Bacillus-based products on the market.”

AVIV is labeled for a wide variety of high-value fruits and vegetables such as berries, grapes, leafy vegetables, cucurbits and fruiting vegetables and is effective in controlling and suppressing many of the most common yield-robbing fungal diseases faced by growers in the Florida market.

With registration in Florida, AVIV is now available to growers in most US States, including California.  AVIV will be available for purchase in Florida immediately.
