Lithium Australia starts production of lithium-ion cathodes from VSPC 30th July 2018
Lithium Australia, a processing technology business, has been working on a lithium-ion cathode production facility, entitled the Very Small Particle Company (VSPC), which has just started producing lithium-ion phosphate.
“The Very Small Particle Company, it’s capable of producing that material at much finer size than anyone else can, which gives batteries far superior performance” said Lithium Australia managing director Adrian Griffin.
The company is also set to deliver some drilling results from its site in Germany and Mr Griffin says the operating costs of the lithium mine should be supported by cash-flow from the tin operation on the same site.
