Merck & Co is building a new biomanufacturing facility in Dublin, Ireland. The facility will be constructed on an existing property owned by Merck & Co – the site of its former facility in Swords, County Dublin. With the facility, the company expects to create up to 350 new jobs.

This follows an announcement by Merck & Co in May 2017 that the company planned to create 330 new jobs and invest €280 million ($350 million) over the next few years at two of its Irish manufacturing sites.
