Almost three years after construction began, Takeda’s new office building, located in the redeveloped area of Nihonbashi-honcho, will soon open its doors to both Takeda employees and the local community.

Internationally-acclaimed Creative Director Kashiwa Sato was appointed to take on the creative direction of the new building. The lower floors will feature a permanent health-themed exhibition space, in addition to hosting selected commercial tenants offering specialty food and drink. These will be complemented by a fitness club that will help benefit the health of the local community. Alongside these facilities, an exhibition space will serve as a point of interest for visitors.

In order to carry out our mission of bringing better health and a brighter future to patients all over the world, Takeda recognizes the importance of first providing employees with a healthy and energized environment in which they can work creatively. Following the relocation to the new building, we will continue to find ways in which we can work to accelerate innovation, while contributing to the revitalization of the local Nihonbashi community.
