Veranova Strengthens Engineering Leadership with Appointment of Chris Holmes as Vice President, Global Engineering

Veranova announced today the appointment of Chris Holmes as the company’s first ever Vice President, Global Engineering, marking a pivotal step in the company’s strategic growth plans. Chris will lead Veranova’s global engineering team in the planning, design, and execution of the company’s capital investment initiatives and lead strategic capital projects supporting Veranova’s growth in existing and new modalities.

Chris’s addition to the leadership team demonstrates Veranova’s commitment to expanding its expertise and global reach. Consolidating the company’s already formidable engineering capabilities, the role will ensure that Veranova’s customers continue to be fully supported in navigating the evolving complexities of the drug development pipeline.

An accomplished and forward-thinking global engineering executive, Chris brings a proven track record of success in the design, construction, start-up, and operation of biopharma manufacturing facilities. Before joining Veranova, Chris was the President of a strategy and management company, where he led organizations through the strategic growth process. Prior to this, he held several key leadership roles at global organizations such as MacroGenics, USP, and Invitrogen/Life Technologies (now Thermo Fisher Scientific). In particular, his time at Catalent, as VP, Global Engineering, highlights his expertise in operations, business expansion, and large-scale project management.

“Chris’s multifaceted experience in engineering operations and management, capital project management, EHS, compliance, and strategic planning will play a key role in driving Veranova’s growth moving forward,” said Ken Zrebiec, Veranova’s SVP, Manufacturing Operations. “He is a dedicated leader and will bring a wealth of invaluable expertise to our team.”

Veranova is delighted to welcome Chris and looks forward to working with him as the company continues to establish itself as a world-leading CDMO partner.
