Azelis announces distribution partnership with CP Kelco for food in Indonesia 4th April 2018
Azelis is pleased to announce a distribution partnership with CP Kelco to offer their carrageenan, pectin, gellan gum and xanthan gum products for the Food Segment in Indonesia. Effective 1 April 2018, this partnership builds upon existing agreements between the two companies in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and Asia Pacific (APAC).
Richard Yin, VP Asia Pacific CP Kelco, states: “Our partnership with Azelis has been very successful in other regions and, paired with their knowledge and expertise of the Food Segment, we are confident that this will be a good next step in that partnership. Although Azelis’ Food & Health team in Indonesia is a young one, the company has established solid business plans and demonstrated eagerness to grow our Food Segment business in Indonesia. Azelis is well positioned to increase market penetration and we look forward to growing this partnership further together.”
Laurent Nataf, CEO & President Asia Pacific, Azelis adds: “We are thrilled with the continued expansion of our strategic partnership with CP Kelco. We have demonstrated solid growth in both the food & health segment in general and Asia Pacific in particular. We have built a Food & Health team in Indonesia comprised of experts with diverse backgrounds, mainly with multinational company experience and excellent knowledge of the local market. This has been a proven recipe for Azelis that brings differentiation to our principals and customers alike. Our track record, transparency and continued growth instil confidence in our partners to collaborate with us in new territories.”
Azelis’ strategy is to create value with its strategic partners through mutual growth across all geographies. The group offers its customers not only highest quality ingredients, but also answers to some of the most stringent market requirements and consumer trends. Azelis is strongly committed to collaboration with its business partners, turning ideas into innovative and market leading solutions.
Azelis has significantly grown in Asia Pacific during the last five years, establishing presence in 10 countries and opening 18 offices and 16 laboratories. In November 2017, the company successfully closed the acquisition of Chemcolour, a leading distributor in Australia and New Zealand, which considerably enlarged Azelis’ footprint in those two countries.
