Enviro Technologies has started transitioning its sales and marketing activities to segments beyond oil and gas, to include industrial wastewater, sewage and mining.

Furthermore, EVTN is currently in the process of completing an estimated $2m order secured from a $20bn utility company for a wastewater system, which will need several Voraxial Separator units. This system will be used to separate oil and solids from water before being discharged into the environment. The Voraxial system will help to process and separate oil and solids from water at flow of about 120 gallons per minute. This system will consist of many technologies with the core being 2 Voraxial 2000 Separators working in parallel with a third Voraxial being used to further dewater the reject lines.

EVTN CEO John DiBella said: “We are pursuing water treatment opportunities for the Voraxial Separator outside of the oil and gas markets. Developing these other markets for the Voraxial Separator coupled with the potential unit sales from the oil and gas market we anticipate from the agreement we signed with Schlumberger can provide us with exciting growth potential.”

The firm is a developer and manufacturer of the Voraxial Separator, which is a patented, in-line turbo-separator to separate large volumes of solids and liquids with different gravities, without requiring a pressure drop and much costs. The system offers bulk separation while requiring less space, energy and weight than the regular separators to process the same volume of wastewater. The Voraxial system can simultaneously separate up to three components, such as oil, water and sand.

This system can also be used as a stand-alone separator or incorporated with other equipment to offer full turnkey solution, which enables customers to treat different fluid streams whilst minimizing treatment cost and increasing separation efficiency.
